What is covered ?
Insurers will reimburse you for specified additional expenses incurred by a patient whilst still in the destination country or still in the country where the hospital in situated, up to the benefit limit section. Covers for any adverse or unexpected result of the medical treatment that necessitates immediate additional medical treatment.
In the event of complications arising within 60 days after the patient has returned to his home country, the policy will cover additional expenses in bringing him back to the hospital for remedial treatment and the cost of remedial treatment, up to the limit selected.
